Nichole Fink

Hi! I'm Nichole Fink, an Atlanta-based social photographer. My grandfather gave me my first camera when I was in elementary school and I fell in love with taking photos. In my mid-twenties, a sabbatical to Croatia became a catalyst that set fire to my passion for the art of photography.

I strive to be intentional in my actions and thoughts, and I want to reflect that in every aspect of living. I am passionate about empowering women and minority voices, and I believe that photography can inform the ignorant and shed light on neglected issues. This philosophy is what led me to become a social photographer.

Social photography documents a slice of society, revealing the state of a particular group at any given time in our zeitgeist. I see it as an opportunity to serve a greater purpose, a chance to highlight the underrepresented and shape conversations in service of larger social issues that impact women of all colors.

My hope is to create a medium for others to be seen and heard in a way that acknowledges not only how we've lived, but that our experiences mattered.  I believe our diversity must be accurately reflected in the media, and I view our differences as an opportunity to create something more interesting.

As a social photographer, I aspire to create a space where women are authentically portrayed and their perspectives are elevated. Armed with my camera, I am committed to sharing stories that celebrate the joys, passions, and strengths of being a woman.
